Azariah’s Reign over Judah

²¹ All the people of Judah took Azariah, who was sixteen years old, and installed him as king to take the place of his father Amaziah. ²² He rebuilt Elath and restored it to Judah. Later on the king died, as did^[a] his ancestors.

Jeroboam’s Reign over Israel

²³ In the fifteenth year of the reign of^[b] Amaziah son of Joash, king of Judah, Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel, began a 41 year reign in Samaria.
